[2005-07-21] Microsoft Getting FrontBridge Hookup: Secure Messaging Microsoft announced yesterday they will acquire FrontBridge Technologies Inc., a company that provides managed services for corporate email security, compliance and availability requirements. This adds another set of features to Microsoft's ongoing war against security problems through archiving, minimizing spam and viruses, and ensuring email availability in case of a disaster.

[2005-07-19] News Corp. Expects to Double Traffic With Intermix Purchase Yesterday, News Corp. announced that it will be purchasing Intermix Media for $580 million in cash. News Corp. will also be getting MySpace.com, because Intermix is buying the portion of it that it doesn't already possess.

[2005-07-16] Discovery On The Internet Many eyes right watch NASA and the Discovery as they work to resolve the fuel sensor problem and get the shuttle back in the sky. A best-case scenario would be Sunday but more likely it will be later in the week. Certainly less dramatic but certainly work mentioning is the fact that some eyes will be able to watch the mission in an entirely new way, over the Internet.
